Just Your Average Sunday Run

Now that I’ve signed myself up for Sentrumsløpet, I’m forced to start running again.  Oh, yeah. I feel the hurt coming on.

I might as well face it. I’m out of running shape. I’m hyperventilating just thinking about the interval training, hill training and sprints that I’ll have to do.

My lungs will reject the training. They will hurt. I’ll double over in pain trying to catch my breath. As a matter of fact, I won’t be able to catch my breath. I’ll see stars. I might keel over.

The Beginning of Meal Prep Sundays

A couple of weeks ago, I began a new Beachbody training program called 21 Day Fix Extreme. It’s a training program which requires working out 7 days a week (thank goodness it’s only for 30 minutes a day. Depending on the goals that you want to achieve, there is a recommendation for how often you should eat. I want to burn fat in this program so  I fall into the 6 meals a day bracket and I need to eat every two hours. That’s a lot of food.

I’m usually so busy at work, I’m lucky if I remember to eat breakfast and lunch. How was  going to manage six meals a day?

I’ve taken really good Spinning classes before at Spenst and at Elixia, but neither has as much heart-pumping energy as the classes here.
